Management and Leadership Courses
Building High Performing Teams
Course Overview
This workshop is designed for anyone who needs to get the best from a team, whether the line manager, or the project manager.
In today's workplace, business success requires teamworking. Teams don't just happen; it is important to recognise that a real team has to be worked at. It must be created, maintained and sustained as an entity. Many so-called teams are created by throwing people together and then expecting them to perform instantly! Team members are selected, assembled and then told “Now you are a team”. But, of course, they aren't a team – it doesn't work that way.
This practical workshop will introduce you to the key skills and behaviours to enable you to guide your team towards high performance.
A two day option is available, which includes the use of Myers Briggs to indentify individual preferences and how to adapt you personal style to meet differing preferences.
