Management and Leadership Courses
Assertiveness at Work
Course Overview
This workshop is designed to help you communicate in a more positive and assertive manner, and shows you how to meet your personal needs without having to compromise the needs of others. It will provide you with a greater understanding of assertive behaviour and develop the appropriate skills and techniques.
Although behaving assertively may not ensure that you get the results you want – the politest requests may be declined by some people – when you communicate your needs honestly, openly and directly, you will give both yourself and the other party the opportunity to achieve the result you both desire.
